Football Recap: Centreville Wildcats vs. Mount Vernon Majors
Centreville won the last time they faced Mount Vernon and things went their way on Friday too. The Wildcats managed a 51-47 win over the Majors. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.
Centreville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Will Shields, who threw for 253 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per attempt, and also punched in one TD on the ground. The Wildcats' leading receiver Jourdan Simpson was Shields' top target yet again, picking up 152 receiving yards and one score.
