Harding County entered their tilt with Newell on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Irrigators 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Ranchers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Harding County walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-18, 25-8, 25-17.

Kamry Padden paced Harding County's offense, picking up eight kills. Padden got some help from Journey Page and her 17 assists. Macey Wendt and Lexy Rolph kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Harding County's win bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Newell, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Harding County will challenge New Underwood at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Newell, they will face off against Cheyenne-Eagle Butte at 1:30 p.m. on Monday.
