After low-scoring totals in their previous four game, Perth Amboy brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They put the hurt on the South Amboy Governors with a sharp 11-1 victory on Saturday. The Panthers not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 18th (when they won 16-0).

With the win, Perth Amboy broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-13-1. As for South Amboy, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-10.

Looking ahead, Perth Amboy will welcome Elizabeth at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for South Amboy, they will head out on the road to square off against South Hunterdon at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Governors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season.
