            Basketball Recap: Middle College Bulldogs vs. Soulsville Revolution        
        
		
        
        
            Middle College came tearing into  Monday's  match with four straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Soulsville Revolution, posting  a  56-20 victory. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven  contests by 22  points or more this season.

 Middle College got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Kiya Mell out in front who  dropped  a double-double on ten  points and ten  steals. Mell has been hot for a while, having  posted two or more  steals the last 18 times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Gabrielle Rudd, who  dropped  a double-double on 13 points and 12  rebounds.
Middle College's victory was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 15-7. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.6 points per game. As for Soulsville,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-10.
 Middle College has already played their next game,  a  60-23  win against Booker T. Washington on the 29th. As for Soulsville, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  matchup,  a  77-31  loss against University on the 29th.
