Basketball Recap: Humphreys County Takes a Loss

Humphreys County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost to the Yazoo County Panthers on the road by a 67-50 margin. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cowboys this season, with their most recent loss being a 42-41 defeat back in January.

Humphreys County's loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Yazoo County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-13 record this season.

Humphreys County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Yazoo County, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Panthers duke it out with the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
