Bellmont scored the most points they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They took a hard 59-45 fall against the Garrett Railroaders. The Braves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Railroaders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Garrett's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Isaiah King, who went 8 of 12 on his way to 24 points and six rebounds. King is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Carter Coffman, who went 8 for 19 on his way to 22 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals.

Bellmont's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Garrett, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Bellmont will be playing in front of their home fans against New Haven at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Garrett, they will venture away from home to take on Bluffton at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
