Volleyball Preview: Granada Bobcats vs. Holly Wildcats
Granada and Holly are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2016, but not for long. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Bobcats challenges the Holly Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
Granada came up short against Stratton on Friday, falling 3-0.
Granada was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Stratton work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-14, 25-23.
Meanwhile, Holly had just enough and edged Walsh out 3-2 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.
Holly had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 22-25, 25-16, 25-18, 15-12.
Granada's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Holly, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-9.
Everything went Granada's way against Holly when the teams last played back in August, as Granada made off with a 3-0 win. Will Granada repeat their success, or does Holly have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
