Soccer Game Preview: Dacula vs. Duluth

The Dacula Falcons will venture away from home to square off against the Duluth Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Dacula barely beat Loganville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Falcons' defense stepped up to hand the Red Devils a 5-0 shutout on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Dacula.

Duluth hadn't beaten Discovery on the road since March 12, 2020 but that history sure didn't bother them on Wednesday. The Wildcats beat the Titans by a goal, winning 2-1. Two seems to be a good number for Duluth as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Duluth's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Dacula, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Dacula skirted past Duluth 2-1 in their previous meeting back in February of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
