Basketball Recap: Green River Takes a Loss

Green River lost against Star Valley back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Green River Wolves had to suffer through a 68-36 loss at the hands of the Star Valley Braves. The matchup marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Green River has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Star Valley, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-7.

Coming up, Green River will challenge Evanston at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Star Valley, they will take on Kelly Walsh at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Star Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Kelly Walsh likes a good challenge.
