Football Recap: Morgan/Old Saybrook/Westbrook Takes a Loss

Morgan/Old Saybrook/Westbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 20-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Haddam-Killingworth Cougars. Morgan/Old Saybrook/Westbrook lost against Haddam-Killingworth in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 43-0 score last time.

Morgan/Old Saybrook/Westbrook's record now sits at 0-3. As for Haddam-Killingworth, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Morgan/Old Saybrook/Westbrook and Haddam-Killingworth will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time Morgan/Old Saybrook/Westbrook sees the field they'll take on Weaver at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Haddam-Killingworth, their break will end when they face Coginchaug Regional at 6:30 p.m. on the 24th.
