Soccer Recap: ALA - West Foothills Comes Up Short

ALA - West Foothills entered their game against Gilbert Christian on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The ALA - West Foothills Guardians fell just short of the Gilbert Christian Knights by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-2 back in January.

Dakota Reinhardt and Kaimbrey Inman scored both of ALA - West Foothills' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 55 goals.

ALA - West Foothills' defeat dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Gilbert Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

ALA - West Foothills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gilbert Christian, they will head out to face off against Seton Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Seton Catholic will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Gilbert Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
