Basketball Game Preview: Simpson Broncos vs. Oak Hill Rams

The Simpson Broncos will head out to face off against the Oak Hill Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Simpson is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took a 76-69 hit to the loss column at the hands of Zwolle on Saturday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (65), the Broncos still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Oak Hill, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Sacred Heart last Thursday, sneaking past 54-52. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rams have posted since December 31, 2024.

Simpson better keep an eye on Ty Goodwin. He was instrumental in Oak Hill's win, putting up 30 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Tucker Goodwin was another key player, earning seven points and six assists.

Simpson's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Oak Hill, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-6 record.

Simpson came up short against Oak Hill when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 55-50. Can the Broncos avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
