Volleyball Recap: Blaine Comes Up Short

Blaine saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Elk River Elks by a score of 2-1. The Bengals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Blaine sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 22-25, 15-9.

Blaine's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Elk River, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

Elk River has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Washburn on the 26th. Hopefully Blaine paid attention to the Elks' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Elks at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
