Basketball Recap: Granite Hills Comes Up Short

Granite Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were beaten by the Adelanto Saints 58-31. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 72-50 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Granite Hills' loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Adelanto, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Granite Hills will square off against Victor Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Adelanto, they will challenge Silverado at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Silverado will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Adelanto surely won't give up without a fight.
