Softball Game Preview: Brocton Bulldogs vs. Pine Valley Central Panthers

The Brocton Bulldogs will venture away from home to square off against the Pine Valley Central Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brocton is looking for their season's first victory.

Monday just wasn't the day for Brocton's offense. They came up short against Randolph on Monday, falling 13-0.

Meanwhile, Pine Valley Central scored first but ultimately less than Forestville Central in their contest on Monday. They lost 16-1 to the Hornets. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost seven in a row.

Pine Valley Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lizzie Roland, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Pine Valley Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Brocton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Brocton couldn't quite get it done against Pine Valley Central in their previous meeting two weeks ago as they fell 7-2. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
