Basketball Recap: Monday's Victory Is Field's Fourth in Last Five Outings

Hathaway Brown came into Monday's match looking for another win against Field, but Delilah Rahe wouldn't allow it. The Field Falcons walked away with a 53-42 victory over the Hathaway Brown Blazers on Monday thanks in part to Rahe, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Field's points.

Hathaway Brown lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Emily Morgan, who posted 18 points. The game was Morgan's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jane Kennedy, who scored 11 points.

Field has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Hathaway Brown, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-13.

Field will host Cloverleaf at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Field is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games. Hathaway Brown has already played their next game, a 58-45 win against Lutheran West on the 29th.
