Basketball Game Preview: Roosevelt Bears vs. Trenton Trojans

Roosevelt hasn't had much luck against Trenton recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Roosevelt Bears will head out to face off against the Trenton Trojans at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Thursday, Roosevelt was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 49-43 to Woodhaven.

Meanwhile, Trenton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They took a blow against Allen Park, falling 50-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Trojans have suffered since December 5, 2024.

Trenton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Roosevelt, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.

Roosevelt beat Trenton 45-38 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Roosevelt since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
