McCook had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Colby Eagles. The Bison were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Eagles, so the Bison were just returning the favor.

The victory didn't come easy: Colby scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20.

Jaylea Walgren paced McCook's offense, picking up 11 kills. Walgren got some help from Karstyn Porter and her 23 assists.

McCook's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Colby, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

McCook didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Hoxie on the 18th. As for Colby, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Dodge City on the 20th.
