Basketball Recap: Century's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Century entered their matchup against Jerome on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Century Diamondbacks fell 46-38 to the Jerome Tigers. The Diamondbacks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Century's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-3. As for Jerome, they now also have a winning record of 4-3.

Century will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lakeland at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Jerome also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Kimberly at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
