Basketball Recap: Shawnee Comes Up Short

Shawnee lost against North Union back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Shawnee Braves took a blow against the North Union Wildcats, falling 66-29. The contest marked the Braves' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Shawnee's defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-9. As for North Union, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Shawnee will venture away from home to take on Northwestern at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Shawnee is facing Northwestern at the right time seeing as Northwestern is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for North Union, they will host Graham Local at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
