Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Whitnall walked away with it. They were the clear victors by an 8-3 margin over the Pius XI Catholic Popes on Saturday. Whitnall might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matches by three goals or more this season.

They hit Pius XI Catholic with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mark McShane (3), Alban Carka (2), Daniel Sanchez (2), and Mason Jaklich.

Whitnall pushed their record up to 15-3-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those three contests. As for Pius XI Catholic, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 13-4-5.

Looking ahead, Whitnall will challenge New Berlin Eisenhower on Thursday. Pius XI Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
