Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Palo Verde Valley). They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Calipatria Hornets on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Yellow Jackets sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Palo Verde Valley has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those five matches. As for Calipatria, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Palo Verde Valley wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 4-1 win against West Shores on the 31st. Calipatria has also already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Mountain Empire on the 30th.
