Basketball Game Preview: Northglenn Norsemen vs. Brighton Bulldogs

Northglenn is 2-8 against Brighton since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Northglenn Norsemen will square off against the Brighton Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Northglenn is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Tuesday. They took a 78-61 bruising from Prairie View.

Meanwhile, in Tuesday's Canine Competition, Brighton came out on top. Everything went their way against Westminster on Tuesday as Brighton made off with a 60-38 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Brighton is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Northglenn, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Northglenn skirted past Brighton 67-65 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Will Northglenn repeat their success, or does Brighton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
