Baseball Game Preview: William Penn Charter Quakers vs. Episcopal Academy Churchmen

Meanwhile, Episcopal Academy hadn't done well against Haverford School recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Churchmen came out on top in a nail-biter against the Fords, sneaking past 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Churchmen.

Episcopal Academy pushed their record up to 15-8-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. With that tie, William Penn Charter's record moves to 4-8-1.
