Basketball Game Preview: Bishop Rosecrans Bishops vs. Catholic Central Crusaders

The Bishop Rosecrans Bishops will head out on the road to face off against the Catholic Central Crusaders at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Bishop Rosecrans is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Saturday, Bishop Rosecrans was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 43-38 to Grove City Christian. While the Bishops didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 15-9 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Catholic Central was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Wednesday as they fell 39-34 to Harrison Central. The Crusaders haven't had much luck with the Huskies recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Bishop Rosecrans' defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Catholic Central, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6.

Things could have been worse for Bishop Rosecrans, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 58-43 loss to Catholic Central in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Bishop Rosecrans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
