Baseball Recap: Littlestown Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Littlestown, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Fairfield Knights on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Thunderbolts in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won four in a row.

Peyton Bossom was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Braylen Branham was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.

Littlestown's victory bumped their record up to 8-6-1. As for Fairfield, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12-1.
