Basketball Recap: North Linn Beats North Tama for Their 14th Straight Win

North Linn had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.7 points) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 84-37 win over the North Tama Redhawks. The Lynx have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 27 points or more this season.

North Linn pushed their record up to 21-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points over those games. As for North Tama, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Coming up, North Linn will square off against English Valleys on Friday. North Linn knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully English Valleys likes a good challenge. North Tama does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
