Basketball Recap: Toledo Christian Comes Up Short

Toledo Christian was the 69-59 winner over Miller City when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Toledo Christian Eagles took a 71-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Miller City Wildcats on Monday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (58), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

Toledo Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Miller City, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Toledo Christian will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Old Fort at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Toledo Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Miller City, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Tinora at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Miller City's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.
