Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Reseda). They blew past the Van Nuys Wolves 81-57 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Regents have posted since December 2, 2024.

Leading Reseda to victory were Anthony White and Cameron Jones. White posted 29 points, while Jones put up 17 points and seven steals. The matchup was Jones' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lupe Patricio, who earned 12 points.

When it comes to explaining why Van Nuys lost, don't look at Steven Tu. Despite the final result, he had 20 points. Another player making a difference was Jeremy Rivas, who scored 14 points.

Reseda's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Van Nuys, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Reseda has already played their next game, a 74-68 victory against Kennedy on the 27th. As for Van Nuys, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 70-58 loss against Sylmar on the 29th.
