Jimtown (Elkhart, Ind.) snapped the four-game winning streak of
Bremen (Ind.), with a 24-6 victory on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a
Devan Emerson touchdown run in the first quarter, the Jimmies led 17-0 at the half.
Jimtown grew its lead to 18 points entering the fourth quarter. JHS's lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown run by Emerson.
Bremen's lone touchdown came on a pass from undefined to
Joey Bailey in the third quarter.
The Elkhart school had given up an average of 11.7 points prior to the contest.
The defeat comes as a step back for Bremen, who notched a 49-6 victory over Knox in its previous outing. The win brought Jimtown's winning streak to three games.
Jimtown (6-2) will play a Northern State game against Triton next week, while Bremen (5-3) will take on Glenn also in a Northern State game.
