Basketball Game Preview: Medfield Warriors vs. Hopkinton Hillers

Medfield is 2-8 against Hopkinton since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Medfield Warriors are taking a road trip to square off against the Hopkinton Hillers at 6:30 p.m. One thing working in Medfield's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups.

Last Tuesday, Medfield was able to grind out a solid victory over Dedham, taking the game 66-58.

Meanwhile, Hopkinton strolled past Norton with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 64-50. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hillers.

Hopkinton is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points per game. As for Medfield, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

Medfield might still be hurting after the 79-57 defeat they got from Hopkinton in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Medfield avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
