Volleyball Recap: Rayne Comes Up Short

Rayne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy Eagles. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Rayne now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-13.

Coming up, Rayne will square off against Sam Houston at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Hanson Memorial on the 8th.
