Volleyball Recap: Woodward Takes a Loss

Woodward had taken Rogers down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Wednesday. The Polar Bears took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. The Polar Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rams earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

While Woodward ultimately came up short, they really made Rogers work, particularly in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18, 22-25, 28-26.

Woodward's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Rogers, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodward will head out to take on Horizon Science Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Rogers, they will take on Upper Scioto Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
