Softball Recap: Saratoga Springs Comes Up Short

Saratoga Springs was the 9-0 winner over Averill Park when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Blue Streaks fell 7-4 to the Warriors on Friday. The Blue Streaks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nia Law made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That double was her first of the season.

Saratoga Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Averill Park, they moved to 6-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saratoga Springs will host Chatham at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Blue Streaks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Averill Park, they will square off against Columbia at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
