Volleyball Recap: Appleton West Comes Up Short

Appleton West lost against Franklin back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Terrors fell 2-0 to the Sabers. The Terrors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Appleton West's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Franklin, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-5 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Appleton West and Notre Dame Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on the 20th. As for Franklin, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Brookfield Central on the 11th.
