Basketball Recap: Aucilla Christian Takes a Loss

Aucilla Christian lost against Echols County back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Aucilla Christian Warriors took a 58-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Echols County Wildcats.

When it comes to explaining why Aucilla Christian lost, don't look at Ethan Bass. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 32 points and nine boards. The dominant performance gave Bass a new career-high in points.

Aucilla Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Echols County, they moved to 5-10 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aucilla Christian will head out to face off against Wakulla Christian School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Aucilla Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.1 points per game this season. As for Echols County, they are taking a road trip to take on Atkinson County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
