Volleyball Recap: Norwalk Lancers vs. La Mirada Matadores
Norwalk won the last time they faced La Mirada and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lancers came out on top against the Matadores by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lancers.
Norwalk had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-12, 25-15, 25-20.
Mirei Sanchez paced Norwalk's offense, picking up 16 kills. Sanchez got some help from Mahalia Urriza and her 27 assists.
