Basketball Recap: Hillsdale Academy Comes Up Short

Hillsdale Academy lost against Reading back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hillsdale Academy Colts fell just short of the Reading Rangers by a score of 41-39. That's two games in a row now that the Colts have lost by exactly two points.

Reading's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aubree Ervans, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 12 points. Thanks to that strong game, Ervans now owns an excellent 45.2% shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was Jenna Londeau, who posted 15 points and four steals.

Hillsdale Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Reading, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-10.

As of now, neither Hillsdale Academy nor Reading have any future games scheduled.
