Basketball Recap: Idaho Falls Triumphs

Idaho Falls's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 57-54 victory over the Shelley Russets. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Russets back in January, they had to take a 62-50 defeat.

Idaho Falls' win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Shelley, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-11.

Idaho Falls will square off against Skyline at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Idaho Falls is facing Skyline at the right time seeing as Skyline is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Shelley, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 62-49 victory against Sugar-Salem on the 1st.
