Jordan-Matthews had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least 31 points, but Providence Grove put an end to it on Friday. The Jets had to suffer through a 47-8 loss at the hands of the Patriots. The Jets have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, American Leadership Academy-Johnston came up short against East Carteret on Friday, falling 41-21.

Although American Leadership Academy-Johnston took the loss, they still got scores from Kegian Blanchard, Kamarri Smallwood, and Jimenez.

Even if they lost, American Leadership Academy-Johnston's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Leading the way was Josh Moore with two. Another thorn in East Carteret's side was Elijah Fulton, who picked up a sack and made 13 total tackles.

American Leadership Academy-Johnston's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Jordan-Matthews, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
