Douglas and Reno squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Douglas had to settle for second. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 42-41 to the Reno Huskies. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Douglas lost, don't look at Jackson Ovard. Despite the final result, he threw for 111 yards and two touchdowns.

Even though they lost, Douglas was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 291 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2023.

Jackson Mathews was another key player, rushing for 114 yards and a touchdown.
