Oregon places 20 on 2012 NISCA All-American Swimming list

Oregon ranked No. 27 nationally (tie) with 10 boys and 10 girls honorees.

With the U.S. Olympic swimming team nearing the Olympics, the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association recently released its list of high school All-Americans.

The lists compile the top 100 performances in each event during the recently completed school year. Oregon is tied for 27th nationally in the number of athletes, while California came in at No. 1 with 750 honorees.

Led by Cameron Stitt of Sunset and Alysha Bush of Newburg, Oregon had 10 boys All-Americans and 10 girls honorees, respectively.
