Soccer Game Preview: Silsbee vs. Bridge City

Silsbee is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Bridge City a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Silsbee challenge Bridge City at 5:00 p.m. Bridge City took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Silsbee, who comes in off a win.

Silsbee's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Little Cypress-Mauriceville by a score of 2-0.

Meanwhile, Bridge City's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Jasper by a score of 3-2.

Abbie Mcdonald and Mackenzie McFatter scored both of Bridge City's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Silsbee's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Bridge City, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.

Silsbee took their victory against Bridge City in their previous meeting back in February by a conclusive 4-1. Will Silsbee repeat their success, or does Bridge City have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
