Volleyball Recap: Effingham Victorious

Effingham's tournament run continued when they took on Nerinx Hall on Saturday. The Hearts came out on top against the Markers by a score of 2-0.

Mckenzie Love paced Effingham's offense, picking up nine kills. Love got some help from Berkley Pullen and her 15 assists. Pullen was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Effingham's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Nerinx Hall, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Effingham wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Teutopolis on the 15th. As for Nerinx Hall, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Ursuline Academy on the 15th.
