With a playoff win on the line, Williams Field rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They walked away with a 61-49 win over the Liberty Lions. The victory was nothing new for the Black Hawks as they're now sitting on five straight.

Liberty lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Mark Duguid, who en route to 11 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Nicholas Topolosek, who posted ten points.

Williams Field pushed their record up to 17-8 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-10.

Williams Field wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 72-52 loss against Boulder Creek on the 21st. As for Liberty, they will square off against Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on February 26th. Liberty is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 69 points per game this season.
