Atascocita had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They put the hurt on the Channelview Falcons with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Atascocita took every set by at least 18 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-2, 25-7.

Jordan Morrow paced Atascocita's offense, picking up 13 kills. Morrow got some help from Gracie Williams and her 12 assists. Samaria Williams controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Atascocita's record is now 17-7. As for Channelview, they dropped their record down to 9-14 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Atascocita is set to take on their familiar foe Goose Creek Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Channelview will face off against rival King at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
