Basketball Recap: Highlands Takes a Loss

Highlands lost against Knoch back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Highlands Golden Rams had to suffer through a 74-36 loss at the hands of the Knoch Knights. While losing is never fun, the Golden Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 450th, while the Knights are ranked 47th).

Highlands' loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Knoch, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

When Highlands and Knoch next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Highlands will try to stop Plum's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on December 27th. Meanwhile, Knoch will square off against Greater Johnstown and their six-game winning streak at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
