Softball Recap: Lafayette Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Lafayette's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against CSI International Studies as they made off with a 13-1 win. Considering the Patriots have won three contests by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Lafayette's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6. As for CSI International Studies, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lafayette will challenge Bushwick at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Patriots will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season. As for CSI International Studies, they will square off against Telecommunication Arts Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
