Baseball Recap: New Brunswick Takes a Loss

New Brunswick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 5-1 to the South Amboy Governors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Zebra of the 19-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

New Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for South Amboy, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. New Brunswick will challenge Perth Amboy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Amboy, they will take on Somerset Tech at 4:00 p.m. on the 15th.
