Volleyball Recap: Ganesha Makes It Three in a Row at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Western Christian, Ganesha was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Edgewood Lions. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Giants also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Ganesha had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-20, 25-21, 25-22.

Ganesha pushed their record up to 3-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Edgewood, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

The future could be bright for both Ganesha and Edgewood: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Ganesha will look to extend La Puente's three-game losing streak when they meet at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Edgewood will try to hand Pomona their fourth-straight defeat when the two meet at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
